I promised myself I wouldn't review skincare in 2024 unless I've tried it for at least two weeks. Continuing with that theme and my skincare series, let's review the Prequel line. Did you know Prequel can be used on your body as well? I think you'll be pleasantly surprised about this line - let's get into it!
Gleanser: Cleanser did such a great job of getting rid of my makeup. I used it in the shower for my morning quick rinse off. 10 out of 10 recommend!
Universal Skin Solution Dermal Spray: This spray allowed my to heal a rash I had on some keloid scaring I have, it worked incredible. This is so amazing for your skin barrier, if you have rosacea or eczema this is something you should pick up.
Lucent-C Brightening Vitamin C Serum: If you have any dark spots, this is great for helping to correct those. Something I learned through using this particular product is very effective Vitamin C does have a scent (think tanning bed) - quick tip, just wash your hands right after you put it on. I have to say I'm VERY impressed by this product and think it's what gave my skin the most brightness.
Barrier Therapy Skin Protecting Cream: The ingredients in this are so calming for your skin. With Colloidal Oatmeal as one of the main ingredients it's amazing for irritated, rashy and/or super dry skin.
Skin Utility Ointment Multiple Purpose Skin Protectant: The first ingredient is essentially a thick Vaseline - you literally only need a pea-sized amount. The way it locks in your moisture throughout the day is incredible, but the fact that it also rests gorgeously under your makeup is an absolute dream!
I am beyond impressed with this line for the following reasons:
It's a great option for someone with sensitive, easily irritated, acne rosacea or eczema.
It's a great option for men, specifically due to the packaging, which is genderless.
A multi-use product is a huge win for me. Being able to use this on your face and body gives you a great bang for your buck!
The price-point is honestly mind-blowing, especially with the products being as large as they are!
*Final note: This was the first skincare review where my skin started purging - this is very normal and again goes to the effectiveness of this line.
